First of all, check that plywood is having wood face veneer or not.
Check the smoothness of plywood as it should be flat from all the sides. It should not have any kind of inequality in any side.
Check the weight of plywood properly, it should have the similar weight from all the sides.
Check the plywood by knocking in the middle. Be sure, it sounds similar without any hollow sound.
